In order to further strengthen the fire safety management during the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, effectively prevent the occurrence of fire accidents, and maintain the safety of employees' production and company assets, the Production Department of Anhui Dongyuan New Material Co., Ltd. conducted department-level fire drills during the "Two Sessions".
The simulation scenario for the drill was a fire caused by leakage during unloading in the raw material tank area of PolyCore Advanced Material Co., Ltd. After receiving the alarm, the on-duty operation director of the Production Department immediately activated the workshop-level emergency plan and implemented on-site emergency response procedures.

At 10:00 on March 7th, after the production department's operations director issued an alarm, the on-duty emergency team members performed their respective duties in different groups: the firefighting and cooling group was responsible for connecting the water hose and using the fire water cannon to extinguish the fire; the rescue and relief group dealt with the leak point wearing air breathing apparatus after the fire weakened; the medical aid group treated wounded personnel after the danger was cleared; the communication and warning group was responsible for site alert and evacuation.
After the drill, Vice General Manager Linqingjun of the Production Center made comments: The focus of this drill was to practice and operate, always keep the string of safety tight, and not be careless or complacent.
At the same time, many problems were exposed in this drill, such as some team members not feeling the urgency and acting very casually during the drill; the firefighting and cooling group did not check the equipment in advance, and the foam fire truck could not be used normally during the drill; the medical aid group did not secure the wounded during the use of the stretcher, and the lifting action was also incorrect. These exposed problems are the areas that we usually lack attention to. In future drills, we should practice more and make improvements.
The Production Department will conduct safety and fire knowledge training in various aspects, gradually improve the safety awareness of employees through video learning, practical operation, and other forms. Finally, it is also hoped that colleagues will always put safety first in their daily lives.
