After more than ten days, the engineering department of PolyCore Advanced Material Co., Ltd. successfully completed the major overhaul of several foam production lines and two central distribution rooms. Although the time was tight, the engineering department still adhered to the principle of "safety first, quality priority". With the hard work of all personnel in the engineering department, all overhaul plans were completed.

Firstly, the engineering department implemented the overhaul plan and formulated the overhaul scheme in advance. During the daily morning meetings, the overhaul plan was emphasized, and each employee was given a paper version of the overhaul scheme to learn and sign, ensuring that everyone understood the overhaul plan.

Secondly, safety was emphasized before the overhaul began. The engineering department is dedicated to promoting safety education and awareness among employees to ensure personal safety during equipment maintenance. Before ignition and climbing, safety inspections of the site were conducted, and after confirming safety measures, the "Fire Safety Work Permit" and "High Altitude Safety Work Permit" were issued. During the ignition and climbing operations, protective measures were taken in accordance with the requirements on the operation permit. During the overhaul of the distribution center, all procedures were strictly followed in accordance with the "Switching Operation Ticket", ensuring safe and civilized maintenance during this period.

Thirdly, the engineering department's staff conducted equipment maintenance according to the overhaul plan in an orderly and efficient manner, despite the hot summer weather. All maintenance tasks were essentially completed within the designated time.

Regarding equipment maintenance, the engineering department carried out maintenance on the circulating water pool, cooling tower, 3# foam production line, 6# foam production line, 4# heat-sealing machine, 5# heat-sealing machine, 2# sanding line, and 3# sanding line. Additionally, the suction pipeline of 6# foaming line was modified to enable it to achieve suction function when only one dedusting system was open.

Regarding electrical maintenance, the engineering department cleaned and painted the two transformer rooms with green floor paint. The electric cabinets in both distribution centers were maintained, including cleaning and tightening bolts.

Finally, the major overhaul was considered a rare opportunity for learning. The engineering department's staff members' professional skills and hands-on abilities were significantly enhanced. For each person, both driving and maintenance stages provided ample opportunities to gain knowledge. Everyone was able to perform maintenance operations and improve their professional maintenance skills.
