On the morning of September 12th, the World Manufacturing Conference Jianghuai Online Economy Forum, with the theme of "Empowering High-Quality Development through Online Economy", grandly opened in Hefei. The main venue was located at the Rongchuang Wanda Hotel in Hefei, and provincial Party Secretary Li Jinbin attended the conference and delivered a speech, while Governor Li Guoying presided over the conference. The Hefei Municipal Committee Secretary Ren Zefeng and Mayor Sun Yong respectively attended the conference at the Huangshan sub-venue and main venue. Vice Chairman of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee Ye Zhengjun, Deputy Mayor Bi Pumin, and Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Hu Liming attended the conference at the Huangshan Yucheng Crowne Plaza Hotel sub-venue in our city.

As an internationally influential global manufacturing event, the World Manufacturing Conference Jianghuai Online Economy Forum, sponsored by the Anhui Provincial People's Government, adopted a new mode of conducting the conference online for the first time under the theme of online economy. Through live streaming technology, the main venue of the opening ceremony was connected to the sub-venues of 16 cities in the province for interaction and also livestreamed globally via cloud platforms. At the same time, the forum held four cloud-based activities: Cloud Opening Ceremony, Cloud Forum, Cloud Exhibition, and Cloud Signing.
It is worth mentioning that the event uses modern information technologies such as 5G, VR/AR, and big data to build a cloud-based virtual exhibition hall, transforming traditional online exhibitions into 24-hour online presentations. Thirteen companies from our city exhibited in the "Cloud Exhibition" section to show their "Huangshan Intelligent Manufacturing" style. Among them, there were three leading enterprises: Huangshan Yongxin Co., Ltd., Huangshan Bolant Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd., and Huangshan Futian Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd.; and ten key enterprises: Huangshan Xiaoguan Tea Co., Ltd., Huangshan Mingmingde Group Co., Ltd., Anhui Qimen County Huangshan Electric Co., Ltd., Changhui Automobile Electrical (Huangshan) Co., Ltd.,PolyCore Advanced Material Co., Ltd., Huangshan Wangrong Electronics Co., Ltd., Anhui Jinshijie Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd., Anhui Xinuo Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Anhui Xietong Bearing Co., Ltd., Huangshan Jinruitai Technology Co., Ltd.
The general public can freely visit the city and enterprise exhibition areas in the form of "cloud" browsing through the official website of the conference or by scanning a QR code, and they can also vote and support our city and the participating enterprises.
It is learned that after being approved by the conference's executive committee project team, our city has a total of 27 "cloud signing" investment attraction projects this year, with a total investment of 21.892 billion yuan (28 projects at the 2019 World Manufacturing Conference, with a total investment of 12.3 billion yuan), including 16 industrial projects, 10 modern service industry projects, and one infrastructure project.
Among them, three investment-attracting projects were signed at the main venue of the conference with a total investment of 14.15 billion yuan (of which contracted investment was 7.39 billion yuan), namely, the T1 line of the Municipal Railway Investment Group's tourism railway project, the Huadong Agricultural and Rural Big Data Application and Operation Center Project in Xiuning County, and the Huizhou District Tourism Resort Construction Project.
In addition, there were 23 investment attraction projects signed at the sub-venues in our city with a total investment of 7.652 billion yuan (of which contracted investment was 7.18 billion yuan). One investment attraction project could not be signed on-site due to epidemic prevention and control measures.
The conference will hold a keynote forum and eight thematic forums, including Yangtze River Delta Integration Development, 5G+ Industrial Internet, Digital New Manufacturing, and Cloud-based Huishang. Experts and scholars will deliver keynote speeches on-site or remotely via video, carrying out high-end dialogues and cooperation for development.
The members of the Huangshan City Sub-venue Preparation Working Group of the World Manufacturing Conference Jianghuai Online Economy Forum, attending guests, and merchants concentrated on watching the series of activities at the main venue of the conference at our city's sub-venue.
